This policy explains how TorboChat collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our website and Instagram automation service.

Information we collect

We collect account information you provide, such as your name, email address, and securely hashed password. When you connect Instagram through Meta, we may process identifiers for your connected professional account, encrypted access tokens, messages, comments, mentions, usernames, and related event data needed to provide the service. We also collect limited technical and activity logs for security, troubleshooting, and product operation.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate users, connect authorized Instagram accounts, receive and respond to supported Meta webhook events, run automations you configure, organize leads, maintain security, provide support, and comply with law. We do not sell personal information.

Meta platform data

Meta platform data is used only to provide user-facing features requested by the account owner. Access is limited to authorized users and permissions required for those features. TorboChat does not ask for or store your Instagram password.

Storage and security

We use access controls, HTTPS transport, activity logging, password hashing, and authenticated encryption for Meta access tokens at rest. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.

Sharing

We may share information with infrastructure and service providers that process it on our behalf, when required by law, or to protect users and the service. Providers are limited to information needed to perform their services.

Retention and deletion

Messages and lead data are normally retained for 365 days, security and activity logs for 180 days, and backups for 30 days. Data may be retained longer when required by law or for an active security investigation. Verified deletion requests are normally completed within 30 days.

Your choices

You may request access, correction, or deletion from inside your TorboChat account. You can disconnect Instagram in the app, revoke TorboChat through Meta, or follow our data deletion instructions.

Children

TorboChat is a business service and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy and will publish the revised date on this page.
